Save Our Planet!

We live in a wonderful world full of life, full of color, full of beauty, but in recent years our world has been devastated by hurricanes, earthquakes, floods and droughts. What does the future hold for planet earth, the place we all call home? No one of us has the solution of how to fix the holes in our ozone layer or how to bring back an animal, now extinct. Due to the fact that nobody knows how to fix it, we must stop breaking it! Climate change could destroy the world that we live in but we can prevent this if we all work together. There is still time for us to save our world! Solar panels, wind farms and underwater turbines are used to produce renewable energy but there are still many more things we can do in everyday life to help our planet. There are in fact many simple everyday things that we can do with our families around our home to help the environment.

  1. Reduce the amount of waste we produce.
  2. Many items from our homes can be recycled by looking what we can reuse. (Jars, cans, bottles, bags...) Make sure you use your recycle bin EVERY TIME.
  3. Plant a tree in our garden.
  4. Grow our own vegetables and fruits.
  5. Turn always the water off when we don't need it. (When applying shampoo or while brushing our teeth)
  6. Use reusable bags instead of plastic bags - they can be recycled.
  7. Take a bus, bike or walk more often.

All these little things we can do in our daily lifes will help to save the environment. Tell everyone to do those small things that count. In my life I have dreamt of seeing the great herd of wild animals, jungles and rain forests full of tropical birds and butterflies, but now I wonder if they will even exist for my children to see. We must take it step by step to make sure that our children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren (...) have a future to grow up in. Think about it and make a difference for all generations to come.

This is a fascinating video about the amazing nature scenery:
